Vivo T4 5G India Launch: Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched the Vivo T4 5G for mid segment buyers in India. The latest smartphone in the T series is essentially a rebrand of the iQOO Z10 which launched in India a few days ago. The operates on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.  The phone uses silicon-carbon anode technology and supports bypass charging to reduce heat during intensive use. It comes with gen AI features like AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, Live Text, AI Note Assistant, Super Documents, and Circle to Search. The Vivo T4 5G comes in two colour options: Phantom Grey and Emerald Blaze.  Moreover, the company claims that the phone is IP65-rated and features military-grade build quality. The Vivo T4 5G will receive two years of software updates and three years of security patches.  Vivo T4 5G Specifications The smartphone features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for an immersive viewing experience. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, built on an efficient 4nm process. In terms of photography, the phone is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32MP wide-angle front camera. Notably, both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. Vivo T4 5G Price In India And Sale Date The Vivo T4 5G is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model comes in at Rs 23,999, while the top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is available for Rs 25,999. Consumers can purchase the smartphone from 29th April from Flipkart, Vivo’s own website and offline outlets. 

Xiaomi Smartwatch Made In India: Xiaomi India has launched the first made in India smartwatch -Redmi Watch Move in the Indian market. The smartwatch is designed to support users through every part of their day — from fitness and wellness tracking to smart task management and hands-free communication. The wearable device features a comfortable TPU strap for all-day use and comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It supports Bluetooth calling, offers a Hindi language interface.  The watch is integrated with Xiaomi’s HyperOS—making it a handy companion for communication, managing tasks, and checking weather updates. Health features include heart rate, SpO₂, sleep (including REM), stress, and menstrual tracking.  The smartwatch also syncs notes, tasks, calendar events, and weather updates. Oppo A5 Pro 5G India Launch: Oppo has officially announced the launch date of the Oppo A5 Pro 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The device is confirmed to feature an IP69-rated build for dust and splash resistance. The company will launch the phone in India on April 24. It arrives as the successor to last year’s Oppo A3 Pro 5G smartphone in the country. However, the Indian version of the Oppo A5 Pro 5G will be quite different from the model available in China. The Oppo A5 Pro 5G is expected to be offered in a brownish colour and has been teased to provide a 200 percent network boost for seamless connectivity, even in challenging environments. Oppo A5 Pro 5G Specifications (Expected) The upcoming smartphone is expected to run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15 and feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,412 pixels) AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, ensuring efficient performance. The device may pack a large 5,800mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The phone is said to come with an IP69 rating, along with a 360-degree damage-proof armour body for enhanced drop resistance. For photography, it could include a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. For selfies and video calls, there is expected to be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Oppo A5 Pro 5G Price in India (Expected) According to a report, the smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model might be priced at around Rs 19,999. However, these are speculative prices and should be taken with a grain of salt.

New Delhi: Amid growing global trade uncertainty and tariff challenges, London-based consumer electronics company Nothing is considering ramping up exports from India, its CEO Carl Pei has said.  Nothing CEO  said during a recent AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on X social media platform that the company is exploring the option of exporting more from India to reduce the risks caused by changing international trade policies. When asked about the possible impact of tariffs on the tech industry and on Nothing’s pricing or product demand, Pei responded, “Who knows? Things are changing every day.” When asked about his strategy to counter such effects, Pei stated, “We are considering increasing exports from India.” India has already become a major market for Nothing and a key part of its growth strategy. According to Counterpoint Research, the brand saw an impressive 577 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth in the country in 2024. This strong performance was largely driven by the success of its Phone 2a series and products under its sub-brand CMF by Nothing. Recently, the brand also crossed $1 billion in cumulative revenue. The company’s commitment to the Indian market goes beyond just sales. Nothing has been focusing on local manufacturing under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Its recent devices, Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro, are assembled in India. This focus on domestic production is expected to help the company manage costs and respond quickly to changes in the global supply chain. Further strengthening its India strategy, co-founder Akis Evangelidis was recently appointed president of the company’s India operations. After taking on this role, Evangelidis said that India is ‘one of the most important markets’ for Nothing. He also announced plans to invest more in the country, including expanding the company’s offline presence to over 12,000 stores and increasing local manufacturing in 2025.

New Delhi: The Trump administration is reportedly weighing new restrictions on Chinese AI firm DeepSeek which could block it from purchasing Nvidia’s advanced AI chips, according to The New york Times. The move may also prevent American users from accessing DeepSeek’s AI tools, signalling growing concerns over tech and national security. This week, the Trump administration took steps to limit Nvidia’s sale of AI chips to China. According to reports, a House committee focused on national security threats from China has launched an investigation into Nvidia’s chip sales across Asia. The report added that officials are trying to determine if Nvidia knowingly supplied DeepSeek with key technology to build AI, possibly breaking U.S. rules. On Tuesday, Nvidia warned it could face a 5.5 billion dollars loss after Washington blocked exports of its China-specific AI chips.
